Pierdomenico Baccalario has been writing novels for young readers since 1997, when he won the Il Battello a Vapore literary prize with La strada del guerriero, using his neighbour’s name. Since then, his bestsellers have been published under various pseudonyms (the best known being Ulysses Moore and Irene Adler) and translated into more than thirty languages. He has been collaborating with Lucca Comics & Games for over twenty years, has written for la Repubblica and is an editorial writer for la Lettura of Corriere della Sera. In 2014, he founded the creative agency Book on a Tree in London.
Countdawn 2, The Book of Ash and Murder on the Po (Giallo & Nero) are due to be published in October.
