Lidia Bolognini, born in Venezuela in January 1999 and raised in the province of Imperia, is passionate about art and drawing, especially manga comics. She devoted her entire childhood and adolescence to this hobby, first attending the Liceo Artistico (Arts High School) in Imperia, where she graduated in Figurative Arts in 2017, and then the International School of Comics in Turin, graduating in 2020. In 2023, she created and published her first comic, Di ghiaccio e di roccia (Of Ice and Rock), with the publishing house ColBer Edizioni, handling both the artwork and coloring. She subsequently focused on creating her latest work, Awarè, written by Manuele Morlacco and Alessandro Atzei, which was published by Edizioni Star Comics in October 2024 under the "Astra Originals" imprint. In 2026, she made her debut in Manga Issho, the first European manga magazine, with the two-part story The Rose Rebellion, written by Alice Fazzari.
She will be at Lucca Comics & Games from October 28th to 30 with Manga Issho n. 7.
