Born in Genoa in 2001, she is an author, content creator, and actress. She made her acting debut in the film Fratelli Unici, before reaching a wider audience as the lead in the youth series Alex & Co. She has always nurtured a deep passion for writing, which led her to publish her first novel in 2017. Dividing her time between film sets, books, and the digital world, in her free time she immerses herself in cinema, literature, and new stories to tell.
Anomaly is Eleonora Gaggero’s latest challenge, in which she tackles intricate world-building and a narrative inspired by the anime Attack on Titan, starting from the concept of a small universe isolated by great walls and a protagonist determined to break down every barrier. The novel combines nostalgia for the great romantic dystopias with a contemporary feel, exploring themes of discrimination, rebellion and forbidden love. An ambitious and distinctly generational project, designed to rekindle in readers the fascination with a genre that is returning to the limelight.
At Lucca Comics & Games, Eleonora Gaggero will be the guest of honour at two panels dedicated to romance, TV series and the fandom phenomenon.
