Giuggy San, who has been creative since she was a child, moving between theatre and re-enactment, first got into cosplay back in 2006 when she discovered Lucca Comics and Games during an impromptu trip with friends, which made her realise just how wonderful this world is. That marked the start of a never-ending journey.
She draws on characters from different universes, with a particular love for Final Fantasy, DC, Ghibli, Warhammer, LOTR and cinema, always striving to bring meticulous attention to detail to her creations. To share this passion with the wider community, she is also taking part in and organising photo-cosplay events.
Giuggy, together with her team, organises the photo-cosplay event ‘La Fortezza del Cosplay’, which takes place in September against the picturesque backdrop of the Fortezza delle Verrucole in San Romano in Garfagnana (which is in its fifth edition now), as well as other industry events such as the recent Cosplay Grand Tour!
