In 1999, at the age of 15, Mario Moroni launched his first startup: OkMusik, one of the first Italian music platforms with a social community. Throughout his career, he has worked as manager on major digital, marketing, and e-commerce projects. 
Since 2017, he has focused on communicating digital innovation through a critical examination, challenging urban legends, biases, and prejudices. He published the bestselling book Startup di merda, which became the cult book in the world of startups, selling thousands of copies in Italy.

In 2023, Moroni published “La fine de Social. E dopo cosa succede?” book in which he analyses the downfall of social media and the rise of AI-powered social platforms, anticipating many of the current developments surrounding AI applications. This book was praised by critics in Europe and the United States.

He is behind the production of the successful podcast Il Caffettino, distributed by OnePodcast. With more than 2,500 weekly episodes, it is the European podcast with the highest number of episodes dedicated to research and development, released seven days a week, 365 days a year. Il Caffettino earned the award of Best Business Podcast. 
Since 2024, Moroni releases Il Caffettino per 2 every week to discuss political, social, and economic topics along with distinguished guests. 
He is the official ambassador of LICE, Lega Italiana contro L’epilessia. 

He will be a guest at Lucca Comics & Games to showcase his comic Achille % KiPI- I Disconessi di m1RC_.
