Sylvain Repos, an art graduate of the Sorbonne in Paris, has always loved comic books. His inspirations include Katsuhiro Otomo and Moebius, as well as contemporary creators like Rick Remender and Brian K. Vaughan, and works such as Akira, Blade Runner and Mad Max. Yojimbot — a high-octane comic where the clash of swords masterfully intertwines with a brilliantly executed post-apocalyptic tale — is his debut work. Repos’ Yojimbot won the "High School Prize" (Prix des Lycées) at the 2022 Angoulême International Comics Festival.
During Lucca Comics & Games 2026, he will be in attendance every day.
