Lisa Riccardi graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italian National Film School). She has worked on the sets of several films and TV series and has written and directed a number of short films, which have been presented at the Giffoni Film Festival. For years, she has moved between writing, film sets and the swimming pool, where she plays water polo. Together with her twin sister, Margherita, she co-wrote Lettera di un (quasi) fratello a una (quasi) sorella, published by MIMebù. In 2023, the sisters won the Open Art competition, which led to the publication of a short graphic novel in collaboration with the NGO Open Arms.
