Eduardo Risso is one of the most important figures in the international comic art scene; he was born in Leones, Argentina, in 1959. His career, which began in the 1980s, has seen him collaborate with some of the world’s greatest scriptwriters, distinguishing himself through an unmistakable style that combines elegant linework, noir atmospheres and extraordinary narrative power.
Following his early work in Argentina and Europe, Risso achieved international acclaim through his collaboration with Brian Azzarello on the celebrated series 100 Bullets, for which he received numerous accolades, including several Eisner Awards. His talent has led him to work on major characters and universes in American comics, including Batman, Wolverine, Spider-Man and many other successful series.
