Martin Simmonds is a comic book artist and co-creator of Eisner Award–nominated titles including The Department of Truth (with James Tynion IV) for Image Comics, Dying Is Easy (with Joe Hill) for IDW Publishing, Punks Not Dead (with David Barnett) for Black Crown/IDW, and Friendo (with Alex Paknadel) for Vault Comics.
Along with James Tylon IV, he co-created Universal Monsters: Dracula, the first instalment in Skybound’s new line of comics dedicated to the icons of classic horror cinema. The series was followed by Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera, written by Tyler Boss.
A highly acclaimed cover artist, Simmonds has created artworks for Marvel, DC, Image, BOOM! Studios, Vault Comics, and IDW Publishing.
