Organised by the Red Phoenix Association and directed by Veronica Niccolai (DJ-V), the event will take place on Saturday 31 October at 5.00 pm (CET) on the Community Village stage, in the Giardino degli Osservanti, during Lucca Comics & Games.
Five finalists will compete in the grand final to win the overall title. The initiative aims to provide a platform and visibility for emerging artists on the fantasy-pop scene, a genre that blends anime, theme tunes, fairy-tale atmospheres and contemporary sounds, appealing directly to fans of pop culture, anime, manga, video games and cosplay.
All finalists who reach the final stage will receive special prizes offered by the initiative’s partners.
The rules for entry and details of the prizes are available in the official call for entries, which can be downloaded from this page. The deadline for entries is Sunday 6 September.
