The Area Pro is the go-to venue for industry professionals, a place for meeting, exchanging ideas and discussing matters, where Lucca Comics & Games provides spaces tailored to the needs of every professional in the sector.

Lucca Comics & Games organises a programme of professional meetings to facilitate contacts between publishers and authors in the Pro Area and to foster concrete networking and career opportunities for young creatives.

This year, the Pro Area is located on the ground floor of Palazzo Guinigi, the festival’s vibrant cultural hub, where you can also visit the exhibitions free of charge.

Choose from the participating publishers, complete the form by 3.00 pm on 13 October and upload your portfolio online by filling in the relevant forms. To mark the 60th anniversary of Lucca Comics & Games, new opportunities and organisations are making their debut in the Area Pro: Bao Publishing, the magazine La fine del Mondo, Mirage Comics, Tora Edizioni, Grizzly Lab and Edizioni Nuove Sido are all on the lookout for more experimental works.

If your work is selected, you will be offered a meeting: you will receive confirmation via the email address provided on the registration form between 20 and 25 October. To access the Area Pro, selected authors do NOT need to have a ticket for the fair: they will receive all the information and details on how to access the area in the confirmation email.

Remember to rename your portfolio as follows: publisher.position.firstname-surname.pdf
