COMMUNITY VILLAGE: LUCCA HOSTS THE LARGEST COLLECTIBLES AREA EVER

The areas around Piazza Santa Maria, the Giardino degli Osservanti and Via Bacchettoni, in the north-east of the city, form the revitalised Community Village, which is at the heart of the festival’s collectables scene. According to data released by Assogiocattoli for the first six months of 2026, collectables have seen a 7 per cent increase in value, with the sector being driven primarily by Strategic Trading Card Games, which are playing an increasingly central role in market dynamics. Lucca Comics & Games has kept pace with this trend over the years, anticipating both its popularity and success.

30 YEARS OF POKÉMON AT THE PALESTRA BACCHETTONI

To mark Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, Pikachu will lead the whole team to Lucca, from 28 October to 1 November, at the newly restored Palestra Bacchettoni. At the Play Lab, visitors can learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, take part in friendly matches and take home an exclusive mini-deck. There will be dedicated stations for Pokémon Champions and Pokémon TCG Pocket, characters from Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu, and LEGO® Pokémon™ installations featuring Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. Rounding off the experience will be photographers with Pokémon × Polaroid cameras, the Pokémon Store, the exclusive Pokémon × Dolly Noire pop-up, and more Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms across the city.

AYAN DENG, CREATOR OF DIMOO, WILL BE IN LUCCA WITH POP MART 

POP MART, the world leader in designer collectables, is making its debut in the MultiBrand area of the Giardino degli Osservanti, having chosen Lucca as the venue to meet its community. Visitors will be able to discover a wide selection of collections and much-loved characters such as THE MONSTERS, SKULLPANDA and DIMOO, alongside other IPs from the brand, and take part in dedicated activities. One of the most eagerly awaited events will be the book-signing by Ayan Deng (Yanstudio), artist and creator of DIMOO, on 30 October from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

TOYS CENTER MAKES ITS DEBUT WITH PLAY4EVER

For the first time, Toys Center is presenting Play4Ever at Lucca Comics & Games, a concept dedicated to the ‘Kidult’ world – for those who never stop playing and collecting, whatever their age. In the Collectibles pavilion in the Giardino degli Osservanti, visitors will find previews, exclusive content and a selection of brands including Banpresto, LEGO, Cada, Funko, Magic and Pokémon, as well as an interactive experience.

LEGO: A 300-SQUARE-METRE SQUARE TO MARK THE FESTIVAL’S 60TH ANNIVERSARY

LEGO Italia is renewing its partnership with Lucca Comics & Games and transforming Piazza San Romano into a veritable LEGO Square, with a pavilion covering approximately 300 square metres. To mark the festival’s 60th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of the first LEGO® Certified Store in Italy, the centre of the space will host an impressive, previously unseen creation by LEGO® Certified Professional Riccardo Zangelmi. It is a mysterious installation designed as a bridge between generations and dedicated to the theme of ‘Legacy’. Visitors will be able to get an exclusive first look at some of the new LEGO sets, meet special guests and take part in exclusive activities. At the official pop-up, the LEGO® Certified Stores will celebrate their 10th anniversary with initiatives linked to LEGO Insiders, whilst the surprises will continue across the city at MediaWorld, Toys Centre with Play4Ever, Dadi & Mattoncini and Covo del Nerd.

SYLVANIAN FAMILIES IN THE MILKY WAY

Sylvanian Families returns to Lucca and awaits fans in the heart of the collectables area at the Giardino degli Osservanti, which has been transformed for the occasion with the new ‘Milky Way’ theme. Fans will be able to discover around 50 products exclusive to Lucca and brand-new merchandise designed specifically for the fair. The much-loved Lucky Draw and the official mascot are also back, ready for you to take souvenir photos with.

FUNKO, A RENOVATED PAVILION 

Funko takes centre stage once again in Piazza Santa Maria with a completely revamped pavilion, designed to offer an even more immersive experience. Among the highlights will be several exclusive Pop! figures, available to purchase directly during the event. Funko will also be at the centre of a collaboration with Ferrero, which will offer a packed programme of activities inspired by the One Piece universe.

TOPPS: FROM MARVEL TO THE NBA

In the Carducci Pavilion, Topps will take fans on a journey of discovery through the world of trading cards, with a special focus on the Marvel and NBA universes. The programme includes activities, in-depth sessions on collectable cards and meet-and-greets with celebrities and personalities from the worlds of sport and entertainment.

SANRIO: THREE ANNIVERSARIES TO CELEBRATE

The Lucca Comics & Games weekend coincides with the birthdays of two of Sanrio’s most beloved characters: Kuromi celebrates on 31 October and Hello Kitty on 1 November. 2026 also marks the 30th anniversary of Pompompurin. With three anniversaries to celebrate, Sanrio and Hello Kitty and Friends simply couldn’t miss one of Italy’s most important events for fans of Japanese culture.

ZURU, BLIND BOXES AND EXCLUSIVE LAUNCHES

ZURU is bringing some of its latest innovations in the world of collectables to Lucca, such as Mini Brands Vinyl and Starbox, the new range of collectable blind boxes, with exclusive launches specifically for the event. The line-up will also feature Fuggler, confirming the brand’s growing presence in the ‘kidult’ and collectables categories.

IRON STUDIOS PRESENTS MINICO WITH MÁRCIO HUM

Iron Studios is coming to Lucca with MiniCo, its stylised Toy Art collection of hand-painted PVC figures, which reimagines pop culture icons with a focus on character and personality. The line’s creator, Brazilian artist Márcio Hum, will be present in the dedicated pavilion for the entire duration of the event to meet the public and sign autographs. Three exclusive releases have been created for the occasion: Doctor Doom Special Edition, TMNT Sewer MiniCo and Walt Disney MiniCo.

MIGHTY JAXX, ITALIAN PREMIERES FOR SANRIO AND ONE PIECE

Mighty Jaxx, the award-winning global leader in the art toy sector, is bringing the Italian market debut of brand-new collections dedicated to Sanrio and One Piece to Lucca. Making its Italian debut will be the XXRAY MINIS: One Piece East Blue Saga series, featuring its rare chaser variants. For Sanrio fans, the following series are coming: Azuma Makoto: My Melody & Kuromi, Mokubi: Hello Kitty and Friends Fukusuo, Kandy: Sanrio Earth Explorers and Nyammy Treats: Sanrio Cafe. An exclusive to the fair will be the XXRAY: One Piece Chopper Wanted (Treasure Gold Edition), a 5-inch gold vinyl figure that has already sold out at SDCC, NYCC and Gamescom, available in limited quantities.

BLOKEES, READY-TO-ASSEMBLE MODEL KITS

Founded in Shanghai in 2014, Blokees builds every product around three principles: Assemble, Play & Display. In Lucca, the company is bringing its licensed model kits, featuring detailed and articulated characters that are easy to build, requiring no cutters, glue or paint. Among the highlights at the stand will be Venom from Marvel Rivals, Darth Vader from Star Wars, Gemini from Saint Seiya, the EVA-01 from Evangelion, Harley Quinn from DC, Bumblebee from Transformers, Hatsune Miku and characters from Naruto.

YUME, COLLECTIBLES CREATED BY FANS, FOR FANS

In the Giardino degli Osservanti area, YuMe is presenting a showcase of its licensed collectables, created in collaboration with big names from anime, gaming, cinema and pop culture. Visitors will find capsule toys and blind boxes dedicated to One Piece, Stranger Things, PlayStation, Kaiju No. 8 and Solo Leveling, as well as Sanrio miniatures and Cosbi figures inspired by Frieren and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Among the standout products are the Hello Kitty And Friends Mini Botanics Memo-Stand, the Stranger Things Upside Down – Capsule Series 3 and the One Piece Barrel Capsule Series 1.

KRYPTONIA COLLECTIBLES AT THE CHURCH OF SANTA CATERINA

At the Church of Santa Caterina, Kryptonia Collectibles presents an extraordinary selection of statues and figures from Sideshow, Queen Studios, InArt and Prime 1 Studio, dedicated to the most famous icons of comics and cinema. A journey through some of the sector’s most spectacular and sought-after creations, where a love for major entertainment IPs meets the art of collectible sculpture.

THE STAMP AND COIN COLLECTING AREA IS LAUNCHED

At the entrance to the Polo Fiere Pavilion, a brand-new space dedicated to philately and numismatics has been created. Here, in collaboration with the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato and numerous international postal administrations, Poste Italiane is celebrating the festival’s 60th anniversary with one of the most significant philatelic programmes ever presented at the event, alongside the traditional stand in the Corso Garibaldi area. Visitors will find projects dedicated to Peanuts, Lucky Luke and Pinocchio, issues marking the 60th anniversary of Lucca Comics & Games and the 40th anniversary of Dylan Dog, as well as initiatives linked to the world of Pokémon. Exclusives will include lithographs by Giorgio Cavazzano and Sergio Gerasi, a collector’s book on Diabolik and the Philatelic Monopoly, as well as the ‘Passabollo Lucca 60’, a stamp collection passport to be completed as you make your way around the event.
