Toei Animation Europe has confirmed its participation with two of its most popular titles: One Piece and PreCure, which will be the focus of screenings, talks and activities for the public, renewing its partnership with Europe’s most eagerly awaited community event.

The Baluardo Santa Maria remains the home of One Piece, which this year will pay tribute to the Elbaph saga. The large pavilion dedicated to the series has been revamped with an even more immersive layout: activities, special photo opportunities and the traditional shop will guide visitors through the world of the Straw Hat Crew. The shop will feature exclusive products from Toei Animation and the Bandai Namco Group.

Furthermore, for the first time, the One Piece experience will extend to the official Lucca Comics & Games app, where users can activate a map layer dedicated exclusively to the property’s official partner brands. The respective stands will be marked on the virtual map, making it easier for fans to locate the various areas dedicated to One Piece merchandise at the festival. One Piece will also have a space in the KIDS area, with activities and photo opportunities designed for younger children too, allowing them to enjoy their first, easy introduction to the series.

For the fourth year running, PreCure returns to Lucca Comics & Games, once again bringing the Western premiere of the film Star Detective PreCure – The Movie!, which will debut at the festival on Friday 30 October at the Astra cinema (with a repeat screening on 31 October at the Centrale), and will be introduced by producer Hibiki Minagawa.

With Star Detective PreCure, Toei is expanding its presence at the Family Palace, where young children can immerse themselves in the colourful world of the series through photo opportunities and by solving cases of the Curetto Agency. Visitors will be able to meet the special mascot, PetitCure Mofurun, who has travelled directly from Japan, in her own dedicated area. The double stand will also feature exclusive brand merchandise from the Pretty Store in Tokyo. The PetitCure Mofurun character costume will be on display from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November in the PreCure area of the Family Palace.
