For the first time in Italy comes one of the masters of contemporary North American comics, a unique voice on a par with names such as Chris Ware and Daniel Clowes.
From 28 October to 1 November, Seth (the pen name of Gregory Gallant) will be at Lucca Comics & Games 2026 in collaboration with Coconino Press to present the new edition of It’s a Good Life, If You Don’t Weaken, one of his best-loved graphic novels.
Seth created the series Palookaville, which began several geological eras ago as a comic book and is now published twice yearly in hardcover volumes. His comics have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Best American Comics and McSweeney’s Quarterly.
His illustrations and cover images have appeared in the most prestigious magazines, including The New Yorker.
In addition to It’s a Good Life, If You Don’t Weaken, Coconino Press has published his masterpiece Clyde Fans (2019), created over more than twenty years, and the graphic novel George Sprott (2022).
