Known for her autobiographical comic-strip series Boumeries, in Lucca readers will discover the work that, among many awards, earned her the 2025 Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material, described by critics as follows: “Going beyond its appearance as an underground comic or trendy graphic novel, The Jellyfish is a splendid surprise full of tenderness, love and tears.”
Thanks to the collaboration with Tunué, the public will be able to meet Boum at signing sessions and meetings from 28 October to 1 November.
