Marco Checchetto is one of the most recognizable Italian comic book artists worldwide / in the world.
He mainly works with Marvel Comics and is well-known for co-creating some of worldwide bestselling and acclaimed works such as Ultimate Spider-Man with Jonathan Hickman. Throughout his career, he has illustrated several and prestigious series including Daredevil, co-created with Chip Zdarsky. Meanwhile, he worked on L’insonne for Panini Comics and co-created Life Zero with the writer Stefano Vietti.
He earned several awards, including If Cartoomics Coccobill award as “the future of comics” in 2006 as well as received an Eisner Award nomination for his work on Daredevil.
Marvel Comic has recently announced the launch of an important collaboration with Checchetto: Avengers, a co-created work featuring the illustrator Marco Checchetto and the writer Chip Zdarsky.
The author will be at Lucca Comics & Games in collaboration with Scott’s Collectables.
