Joe Manganiello is an actor, director and producer best known for the US television series True Blood, as well as for the blockbuster film Magic Mike and its sequel Magic Mike XXL.
In 2026, he joined the cast of the Netflix series ONE PIECE in the role of Mr 0 (Crocodile), one of the saga’s main antagonists, a role he will reprise in the third season, ONE PIECE: The Battle of Alabasta, due in 2027.
A great connoisseur and collector of D&D, Manganiello is now at the heart of a new creative phase for the game: in 2026, he launched D&D Icons, an initiative that brings together some of the most celebrated creators in the history of D&D to breathe new life into iconic settings and worlds. At the same time, his project Death Saves, developed alongside veteran designer Mike Mearls, has been relaunched as Black Label, a new dark fantasy setting for D&D, first presented as a live play session at Gen Con 2026.
He returns to Lucca as special curator of the Lucca60 programme dedicated to Dungeons & Dragons.
